One of the hardest things a person faces in life is when they have been rejected. We face rejection in a number of ways: from a parent or a spouse, just to name a few. Rejection affects us in a number of ways. We take personally everything said to us whether it was critical or not. It affects our mood, our marriage, our family and our relationships. Rejection leaves scars and hurt.

God, however, will not reject you. To prove this let's see how God views you.

1. You are the apple of God’s eye.

What does this saying “apple of His eye” mean? This is a phrase used to convey how much someone loves another person. It’s a tender, gentle, and loving phrase for saying how special a person is to the one who’s saying it. The phrase "apple of my eye" refers to someone that one cherishes above all others. That’s how God views His children.

2. You are His child. 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! ……

3. You are deeply loved by God and accepted by Him.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

4. He has a plan for your life and He put you here because you are significant.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God made no mistakes when He created you. You may not feel you measure up to society, you may think you’re not pretty or you’re not smart or talented, but in God’s eyes you are perfect and He has a plan for you no matter what you think of yourself, no matter the situation you are in.

Now, after seeing how God views you can you doubt He accepts you? When you have been rejected realize you are special to God and He accepts you.

Psalm 10:14 But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
