Crazy Faith

What kind of faith does God want us to have? A faith that the world would call crazy. A faith that seems outlandish, weird, bizarre to the world. Noah was one that had a crazy kind of faith. In Noah’s time, the world had become a wicked place and God decided to destroy the whole earth with a flood. The scriptures say Noah found favor with the Lord and He tells Noah that he and his family would be spared. To spare Noah and his family, they were told they would have to build a huge boat. This boat was to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high. A boat big enough to house 2 of every kind of breathing animals, male and female, on earth. I will admit the exact words, “God wants a personal relationship with us” is not found in Scripture but the Bible is full of examples of God showing His desire to be close to us. From the beginning we see this: Genesis 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. In this verse we see God taking time to go to the garden of Eden to walk and visit with Adam and Eve. If God doesn’t want to have a personal relationship with us why does
