A Christ-like servant ministry to girls, their leaders, and their families where the gifts and calling are shared in extending the mission of Jesus (Mark 16:15). Karen Bass has been the Coordinator of the Girl's Ministries for many years. This program, designed for girls, will help prepare them to be spiritually mature. It creates an environment to develop their gifts and abilities, as well as building lifelong relationships and friendships.
Royal Rangers is about hands-on adventure and side-by-side relationship building. It's how boys learn and relate best. Beyond the fun, boys discover they have what it takes to be men as they spend time with mentors outdoors, in the gym, at the computer, on the service project site, or on the stage. Boys are into the great outdoors, sports, technology, tools and the arts. That is why Royal Rangers is into them! Tom Johnson, the local Coordinator, is recognized and respected nationally as a leader in this dynamic program.
Teens join together for spiritual and relational growth. Kim Jackson has directed the Uth group since 2002. The Uth group is an area where ministry skills are developed and used. Opportunities to be involved in worship, human video, audio-visual, games and activities, movie night, missions outreaches and bible studies are available throughout the year.
Discipleship classes are available for all ages, from infant to senior adult. The curriculum is designed to help people learn about the Bible in age-appropriate settings. Associate Pastor Tom Elias leads this vital arm of education to EQUIP God’s people to be mature believers and followers of Christ.
Directed by Clorinda Johnson, Women’s Ministries (WM’s) EMBRACES all women of the church family. WM’s brings women together in Bible study, relationship and acts of kindness and service. Women are encouraged at the annual retreat, Christmas brunch and weekly Bible studies. They are often called upon to provide meals for church events or families in need.
Open on Sunday mornings. Come enjoy a drink of your choosing. You may prefer a Latte`, hot chocolate or just coffee to jump start your day. A favorite for non-coffee drinkers is affectionately known as getting a HUG (a flavored milk with crushed ice and whipped cream topping). If you arrive early enough, you may even find a doughnut!
Sunday, February 28th at 5:00 p.m.
All ladies are invited to attend!
